released 13 March 2013The Souls For Sale debut album ‘Scavengers’ is out now as deluxe LP+CD, screenprinted DigiCD and Tape. Scavengers marks a huge departure from their debut EP “All My Favorite Love Songs Are By Cannibal Corpse” as the new songs showcase the most varied and intense material the band has written yet. Scavengers was recorded at the Tonmeisterei Oldenburg and is released via WOOAAARGH, Olympus Mons and Puzzle Records.

Be it a saloon piano, motörhead-styled solos, extroverted basslines others would kill for, frantic thrash and death metal riffing stirred up with d-beats or on other occasions heavy rock, while the next introspective soundscape accompanied by severe vocal cord abuse is already lying ahead, as long as it serves the song, there is not the slightest doubt that it is not going to be utilized by this bunch of weirdoes. Souls For Sale will take whatever it takes in order to do what they are pursuing to do and they exactly know what that is. Their vision of hardcore music is filled to the rim with elements derived from various styles of heavy music. However, when other bands get lost playing around on the playground of possibilities, SFS ultimately create coherence out of what may seem a chaotic and undetermined conceptual approach on the first glimpse.
