    Open your eyes.

    Civilisation withers and dies
While meaningless talkshows are leading our lives
    Ignorant masses heeding the call
Our own stupidity will be the fall of us all

The truth is there in all those thousand empty eyes
Your system fails unveiling all your lies
About values and happiness that never were real (to me)
So tell me, how does that make you feel?

Your whole society is standing in flames
While our hope and our drems are lost in your games
Awaken by our cries, Awaken by our calls
Or together we stand, burn and fall

The truth is there in all those thousand empty eyes
Your system fails unveiling all your lies
About values and happiness that never were real (to me)
So tell me, how does that make you feel?

We’ll erase your borders, we’ll tear down your walls
Shaking the soil by uniting our calls
We’ll rise from our chains leaving no one behind
When we stand together and reclaim our minds.

The moment I cease to resist,
Is the moment I cease to exist.
The moment I cease to resist,
Is the moment I cease to exist.

    it never rains
    unless it pours
    catch your death
    in the eternal storm
    eternal storm

    heavens open
    the downfall
    soaked to the skin
    join the deathroll
    sound the deathbell

    hellstorm

    climb aboard
    the death wagon
    you can’t escape
    the rain

looked up at the sky for the last time
so much to learn, now I never will
we screamed out in anger at their stupidity
a million souls cry out as one
so they finally sent them on their way
    cruising across the sky and…
    LAND

the world exploded in my head
the life blood poured from my veins
    arrival time… ZERO!
we lay to waste our world

now face to face with our exodus
we now curse our own apathy
    much to late to defend
we’re doomed to see our planets end
so they finally sent them on their way
    cruising across the sky and…
    LAND

the world exploded in my head
the life blood poured from my veins
    arrival time… ZERO!
we lay to waste our world
    OUR WORLD

This is written in the dark days
When there is evil in the air
We have waited a thousand years
    For this eternal night

    This awesome dusk
    Of the last human day
    The imminence of apocalypse
    Rightfully seeds our dreams

    At least one thousand years
    For this eternal night
    This awesome dusk
    Of the last human day

I think the look of the world is a lie
A grotesque fucking face made up
    Over graves and fiery depths
    And nothing else is true

This wretched fucking world is a lie
And nothing else is fucking true
    But what is horrible
    But what is horrible

    Saigon, Vietnam 1963
Elderly Buddhist monk sets himself ablaze
Suicide as protest to the Diem regime
    Complicit in U.S./French hegemony

    D.C., Pentagon 1965
32 year old pacifist, father of three
Douses himself with gallons of kerosene
    Under the window of McNamara

    Detroit, Michigan 1965
82 year old woman burns herself to death
Despondent with the horrors of the war in Indochina
Charred bones thrown into the cogs of Apparatus

With great guns and reater hate
This beast thought itself equal to the force of life
Some say Apparatus cannot be stopped
Some say Apparatus cannot be stopped
Some say Apparatus cannot be stopped
One swallows dry and takes a chance

Defeat of the global American Empire
By a revolution of peasants abroad
    And astonishing protest at home
‚War is the health of the state‘
And this Apparatus hungers for flesh
Those who threw themselves into that machine
    Slippery with foam and blood
Choking the hangman with noose drawn taut
Made the gallows as holy as the cross
Some say Apparatus cannot be stopped
But one swallows dry and takes a chance.

On the wall someone chalked „THEY WANT A WAR“,
The person who wrote it has already fallen
Those who eat their fill will speak to the hungry
    Of wonderful times to come

When they speak of peace War is coming
When they speak of love Hatred is coming
When they speak of life Death is coming
When they speak of hope The end is coming

On the wall someone chalked „THEY WANT A WAR“,
The person who wrote it has already fallen
Those at the top say „this way to glory“
Those down below say „this way to the grave“

When they speak of peace War is coming
When they speak of love Hatred is coming
When they speak of life Death is coming
When they speak of hope The end is coming

    bin glut, bin feuer
    bin durchtrieben, durchwachsen, durchbrochen

    lasst mich in ruhe zerfallen!

blicke springen wie eis unter druck
mimik bleibt stehen wo menschen gehen

Up into the kitchen of the human factory farm
It tries to scream but can’t without a tongue
One more slaughtered in the kitchen of the human factory farm

    [Recipe:]
Take your body, grease it well and rip the kidneys out
The sweat must be left on the skin, the throat allowed to bleed
Prepare a stuffing, smash the jaw and jam it down the throat
Then braise your beast for two hours for a healthy, filling treat

Back in Cell Block 427 the rest don’t care if he’s missing
Two beasts fuck frantically, fearful of their slaughter
One bloated specimen rolls off its mate and proceeds with pissing
The shit drips between his legs as he pisses on his rotting daughte

Earth to ashes, buildings to dust
    A radioactive burning crust
The meek shall inherit all that is left
Inherit the Earth, a living death

From the cradle to the grave
You made yourself the system’s slave

    Acid rain, rocks on fire!
    Poison clouds, gods a liar
There’s nothing left, for the meek
The past is gone the future is bleak

From the cradle to the grave
You made yourself the system’s slave

    Evil systems, government control
Are to blame for our downfall
There’s no umbrella against the rain
Destroy the power, break your chain!

    I just buried a friend
He had come to the end
But I can’t help feeling that it needn’t have been
    Caught in the flak
    There was no turning back
So he gave up his life for some psychopath’s dream

    So we’re leaving the front
    Having taken the brunt
Now we’re tired of the slaughter in some foreign land
So the leaders of the war
They fight alone on the shore
Our mutiny over they are left on the sand

    We stand as one
    [From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/a/amebix-lyrics/coming-home-lyrics.html]
We are an army now of many thousand strong
    They stand alone
To fight for ravaged land to gain their worthless throne

    Chorus:
    The boys are coming home

    Voiceover:
    I see within my mind
    A vast and lonely plain
Great armies meet in no man’s land
To clench their hands in friendship
    For the first time
    The dark tide is ebbing
A mass of tired humanity drifting toward the dawn

    We are coming home

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzoVdyElr6c
Well we’ve all heard the sermon seen
The preachers or worshipped the stage
Heard the new manifesto? It’s all questions no solutions at all
Well, you’re out on your own now, always have been
    Just look at your friends
    Break the surface to daylight
Strength will flow through our unity.

There is a traitor in our midst
And when we rise we will be betrayed
They are the wolves in sheep’s clothing
Take the place at the back of the fold
    All this talk about freedom
Will be tainted with blood (it’s your life)
Put this cross on your back child
Tread the long weary trail to the top of the hill

    ARISE! GET OFF YOUR KNEES!

There’s some hard times coming down
There’s the smell of revolution on the wind
Well, we’re grinding down our axes
Telling tales round the bonfire at night
We will set out with a fire in our hearts
When this darkness gives way to the dawn
In the light we’re united as one
For the kingdom of heaven must be taken by storm!

    ARISE! GET OFF YOUR KNEES!
    STAND UP!

The Profane Existence Collective (referred to occasionally as ‚P.E.‘) is a Minneapolis-based[1] anarcho-punk collective. Established in 1989,[2] the collective publishes a nationally-known[3] zine (also called Profane Existence), as well as releasing and distributing anarcho-punk, crust, and grindcore music,[4] and printing and publishing pamphlets and literature.[5][6] Stacy Thompson describes the collective as “the largest, longest-lasting, and most influential collective in Anarcho-Punk so far.”[7] The collective folded in 1998,[8][9] although its distribution arm, then called Blackened Distribution, continued operating.[10] It restarted in 2000.[2] „Making punk a threat again“ is the group’s slogan.

Moshpit Tragedy Records is a Canadian independent record label founded in Windsor, Ontario in 2006. The label specializes releases punk, metal and some of their subgenres (crust, sludge, etc.). In 2007, they became the first record label to abandon physical releases in favour of a fully „sliding-scale“ or „pay what you want“ download model.

„A surge of popular interest in anarchism occurred during the 1970s in the UK following the birth of punk rock. However, while the early punk scene appropriated anarchist imagery mainly for its shock value, the band Crass expounded serious anarchist and pacifist ideas, and went on to become a notable influence in the burgeoning Anarcho-Punk movement.

Many anarcho-punks are supporters of issues such as animal rights, feminism, the anti-war movement, the antiglobalization movement, and many other social movements.

The story of the movement is told by some of the most influential performers, including; Penny Rimbaud (Crass), Colin Jerwood (Conflict), Colin & Kevin (Flux of Pink Indians) Dick Lucas (Subhumans), Zillah Minx (Rubella Ballet), Gary Buckley (Dirt), Steve Lake (Zounds), Mark Wallis (Liberty), Gee Vaucher (Crass), Dave Hyndman (Hit Parade), Rob Millar (Amebix), Rodney Relax (Alternative), Stringy & Snout (Erratics) and Gerard Evans (Flowers in the Dustbin).
