I’m pleased to announce that our brand new album ‘It Was A Dark And Stormy Night…’ is officially out today, just in time for Halloween. Since nobody goes to record stores anymore and we are releasing the new album on our newly formed independent record label ‘Villains And Vaudevillians’, this album will not be available in stores. You can either purchase it directly from us or on Itunes and any of your other favorite digital vendors. If you want to keep hearing more Creature Feature music then I can’t stress enough to please help support us by actually purchasing the album.

The second version we’re releasing is a deluxe version that comes with the the above jewel case and a full color six page booklet (Artwork by Gris Grimly), but also includes a limited edition slip cover with alternate artwork. Highlights von metal-hammer.deIst eher enttäuschend. Leider hat man sich eher von den tollen Momenten des Vorgängers entfernt und die durchschnittlicheren Stellen ausgebaut. Es kling etwas billig, das Album.
edit: Das Keyboard ist zu dominant, die Songs ähneln sich alle sehr stark.
Kein einziger Song kommt auch nur halbwegs an Songs wie Buried Alive oder Bound And Gagged ran.--

Vor einier Zeit habe ich 3 Songs gehört und diese mochte ich. Ich war nur überrascht was du eben geschrieben hast.

Ich habe mir das Album sobald es verfügbar war, als Download gekauft und nun schon öfters durchlaufen lassen. Es ist nicht wirklich schlecht, aber es ist absolut nicht mehr in der Liga des Vorgängers. Es ist zu sehr Keyboard-Kindergarten-Geisterbahngedudel mit den immer gleichen Sounds. Die Gitarre ist nur noch Untermalung und nicht mehr melodieführendes Instrument wie das noch auf The Greatest Show Unearthed der Fall war.

Dann werde ich mir das Teil morgen bzw. später mal in Ruhe anhören. Ich habe schon gewisse Erwartungen, weil ich das Debüt nach wie vor sehr toll finde.

Wieso kommst du jetzt eigentlich darauf, das Album ist doch nun schon sehr lange draussen… Hast du es einfach nicht mitbekommen?

Richtig, ich habe es nicht mitbekommen. Beim durchstörbern meiner Sammlung sind die mir wieder eingefallen und daraufhin habe ich auf deren Seite nachgeschaut. Die sind ja auch nicht so bekannt, das sie auf irgendwelchen News Seiten erwähnung finden und wenn ist es mir wohl auch entgangen.
