Filmed at a sold-out Metro in Chicago on Friday, December 5,
2003, „Music Of Mass Destruction“ reportedly captures what is being described as „the show to define the band’s legendary career.“According to drummer Charlie Benante, „In the entire history of the band, this show was ‚the one.‘ From the moment we went on until the very last note we played it was on.“ The drummer continues, „I’m really glad we documented this show, so everyone can see what I mean, it was so metal.“
The disc features a vast array of bonus materials including separate band segments, a feature on famed comic book artist/painter/creator Alex Ross (who, in addition to his cover for last year’s „We’ve Come For You All“, has provided the artwork for this release), 5.1 Surround Sound, two songs filmed in hyper–angle, as well as a bunch of hidden extras.

Das is doch was feines, was hoffentlich bald einen Platz in meiner Sammlung finden wird.
Das einzige, was mich etwas enttäuscht ist das Cover, gefällt mir irgendwie net so … Hätten sie sich etwas mehr Mühe geben können.Aber ansonsten sieht das Ganze wirklich interessant aus, also Playlist etc.

ANTHRAX: ‚What Doesn’t Die‘ Video Posted Online – Apr. 12, 2004
ANTHRAX’s video for the track „What Doesn’t Die“ has been posted online at this location (courtesy of Launch.com).
The shoot took place on January 19, 2004 at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. The clip was written and conceived by comic/writer Brian Posehn, known best for his work on „Mr. Show“, „Just Shoot Me“ and his own stand-up routine. Posehn co-directed the clip with Michael Sarna, who has previously worked on videos for 50 CENT, SMASHMOUTH and COUNTING CROWS.
Commented ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian, „The video shoot for ‚What Doesn’t Die‘ was incredible. The footage I saw on the monitor looked spectacular. The zombies were killer, no pun intended. I’ve never been so excited about a video in the history of the band. I can’t wait to see the edit. Brian Posehn’s idea for this made it all happen and Michael Sarna kicked ass all day making sure he got all the shots we needed. And, thank you to all the friends who showed up and got made up or moshed all day long for us. Twelve deadly hours!!!“
