Savannah, Georgia’s BARONESS will head to Dallas, Texas next week to begin work on a brand new full-length album. The new CD will be helmed by the Grammy-nominated producer/engineer John Congleton (EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY, THE POLYPHONIC SPREE, THE ROOTS, BUDDY MILES, BLACK MOUNTAIN). The as-yet-untitled album is due in the fall via Relapse Records.

sehr gute sache. ich habe sie zuerst live gesehen und dann auf platte gekauft und muss sagen dass ich etwas enttäuscht war. auf der bühne gibt es gitarrenduelle, wunderbare soligeschichten, das hab ich auf dem album etwas vermisst

Freu mich. Das Red Album war dann doch ziemlich gut.
Da kann ich andysocial nur Recht geben: Live sind die eine Macht. Diese unglaubliche Wucht hat „Red Album“ allerdings vermissen lassen. Wenn sie das Livefeeling allerdings diesmal reproduzieren können, steht uns vermutlich ein amtlicher Kracher ins Haus. An der fehlenden Güte der Songs liegt’s nämlich imho nicht.

Weckt mich bitte, wenn der VÖ erreicht ist… Selbst wenn die Scheibe nur halb so geil ist wie das rote Album, ist sie noch ein Reisser.

Qui tacet consentire videtur!Sie ist noch weitaus besser als das Red Album in meinen Ohren. Klingt eigenständiger!
