Von Pestilence hab ich bis jetzt nur Consuming Impulse, was ist da noch so gut?Alles kaufen.
Ist wie bei Death, jedes Album herrausragend und essentiell (die ersten beiden sind eine wahre Lehrstunde in Sachen DM- Vokills), wenngleich es nicht so viel beeinflusst und geprägt hat wie die Werke um Schuldiner.--

SOTLB klingt für mich wesentlich MeloDM-iger als der Vorgänger, der eh irgendwie finsterer daherkommt…aber naja, was solls…beides schwer zu übertreffende Meisterwerke, basta.

Die Gitarrenarbeit der Somberlain klingt ganz klar mehr nach alten Dark Tranquillity, In Flames oder auch Dismember (die melodischeren Sachen!) als nach Darkthrone oder Mayhem.
