Bring a saw, cut off an arm Necrophilia has its charm Molestation of the dead Fucking with a cut-off headIm übrigen möchte ich mal noch folgende Scheibe hervorheben:
„Cult Of The Initiated“ ist mittlerweile 10-jährig und trotzdem kennt es keine Sau. Stilistisch gehts irgendwo in Richtung Immolation, Angelcorpse, Morbid Angel etc. Die Band gibts/gabs seit 1989, in den frühen Neunzigern verdingten sie sich vorallem als lokale Supportband für international renommierte DM-Bands, bevor sie 1997 mitten in der grossen Krise ihr Debut veröffentlichten. Die Produktion wirkt sehr roh und unbelassen, weshalb das Zeugs ein wenig chaotisch klingt. Der Sänger ist auch ziemlich gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ist auf jedenfall nix für kiwipo.

Die neueren Sachen bewegen sich extrem in Richtung Beneath The Massacre, das Debut von 1998, welches ich besitze, klingt enorm nach Suffocation von 1991-1995. Hat auch Songs von der Scheibe drauf. Sind ziemlich ancheckenswert, auch wenn man den Exoten-Bonus weglässt.

Sing and rejoice and sing and rejoice!Als ich grad in ‚Ripped..‘ reingehört hab‘, dachte ich, da würde jemand 1zu 1 den ‚Human Waste‘ – Stil fahren. Aber nein, scheinbar sehr geile Band mit einer gewissen Eigenständigkeit auch, doch.

Aber nein, scheinbar sehr geile Band mit einer gewissen Eigenständigkeit auch, doch.
Zwischendurch gehts in der Tat in in Richtung „Human Waste“, aber in den technischen Parts tendieren sie doch stark in Richtung „Pierced From Within“, weshalb ich auch Suffocation 1991-1995 schrieb. Hat von jeder der vier ersten Suffo-Outputs was drin.

Doch klar, sicher…..gute Band, aber kommt halt nicht an die wahren Klassiker ran, bzw. nicht im geringsten.

Ich find die jetzt garnicht nicht so ähnlich, aber auch God Macabre besser, wobei einiges von Fleshcrawl schon verdammt gut ist.
