Habt ihr schonmal einen pelikan bei der Nahrungsaufnahme gesehen? Gibt sicher auch Videos bei Youtube. Guckt es euch an und es wird offensichtlich.
Ausserdem würde er die Ente nicht so einfach runterkriegen. Ne Ente die sich bewegt ist ziemlich sperrig und rutscht nicht mal so einfach wie ein Fisch.
Btw. ist das überhaupt ne Ente?

Scheint so. Allerdings gings nicht ganz so rasch wie das Video zeigt:
Families strolling through a London park were left shocked when a pelican picked up and swallowed an unsuspecting pigeon.
The Eastern White pelican struggled with the desperately frantic pigeon in its beak for more than 20 minutes before swallowing it whole.
The moment was caught on camera by Press Association photographer Cathal McNaughton, who was taking pictures of wildlife in St James’s Park.
He said: „The pelican was on the towpath preening itself, and there were a lot of tourists watching it.
„Then the bird got up and strolled along until it reached one of the pigeons, which it just grabbed in its beak.
„There was a bit of a struggle for about 20 minutes, with all these people watching. The pelican only opened its mouth a couple of times. Then it managed to get the pigeon to go head first down its throat. It was kicking and flapping the whole way down.“
The pigeon was definitely alive when it reached the pelican’s stomach, Mr McNaughton added.
A spokeswoman for the RSPB said the incident was very unusual.
The aftermathShe said: „It is almost unheard of for a pelican to eat a bird. Their diet should be strictly fish.“
There are currently five pelicans living near Duck Island in St James’s Park – four Eastern Whites and one Louisiana Brown.

Treat everyone the same until you find out they're an idiot. http://www.last.fm/user/darayBtw. ich hab noch etwas nachgeforscht. Anscheinend ist es nicht unüblich, dass gewisse Pelikanarten auch mal Möwen fressen (wobei sie diese zuerst ertränken).
Ich war also etwas sehr daneben mit dem Fake. Aber es sieht halt echt nach Fake aus^^
