Hallo Freunde,
leider muss noch eine weitere Band KEEP IT TRUE 12 absagen. HELL werden leider nicht spielen, da sich Gitarrist Kevin Bower einer dringenden Operation unterziehen muss. Hier das offizielle Statement:
It is with great regret that HELL (UK) have been forced to cancel their
appearance at KIT 12. Kev Bower, the band’s guitarist and synthesizer
player, was today informed that he must have immediate abdominal
(stomach) surgery to treat a problem which will become very dangerous if
not treated straight away, and his surgeon has warned him that an 8-10
week recovery period is the minimum required after this. Since Kev
performs such a complex 2-part role within the band, finding a
replacement is impossible given the close proximity of the show. HELL’s
first European appearance had generated great interest amongst metal
fans – to the extent that some die-hards were actually travelling from
the USA to see the show. This decision has been extremely sad, and HELL
would like to offer their sincere apologies to all who were looking
forward to seeing them. Our great thanks go to Oliver and all involved
with KIT for inviting us – HELL very much hopes to see everyone at
another KIT, another time.

unfortunally another band has to cancel their show at KEEP IT TRUE 12. HELL will not be playing, because guitarist Kev Bower has to undergo surgery. Here is the full press statement:

wir sind stolz, euch zwei absolute Hammerverpflichtungen für KEEP IT TRUE 13 im April 2010 bekannt geben zu können:
Lange Jahre haben wir es probiert….sie sind wohl eine der legendärsten Metalbands auf diesem Planeten…und endlich hat es geklappt: Die Progressivgötter WATCHTOWER werden das KEEP IT TRUE 2010 co-headlinen. Für uns als Veranstalter wird damit ein weiterer Traum war und wir freuen uns, dass Jason McMaster & Co. endlich auf dem KIT aufspielen können. Erwartet eine der besten Livebands dieses Planeten.
Wir wollten auch schon seit geraumer Zeit endlich eine osteuropäische Band auf dem KIT haben und endlich hat es geklappt. Die Ungarn KALAPACS um den originalen POKOLGEP Sänger Jozsef Kalapacs werden eine spezielle POKOLGEP Show mit allen Hits der ungarischen Kultband spielen. Desweiteren wird es in Kooperation mit dem Bandlabel Hammer Records für die ersten 100 KIT 13 Kartenkäufer eine kostenlose KALAPACS CD am Merchandise Stand geben.
Weiterhin können wir auch endlich den offiziellen Termin für KIT 13 bekannt geben. Es ist der 23. und 24. April 2010.Um das Billing mal etwas übersichtlicher zu gestalten diesmal in alphabetischer Reihenfolge:

Hi Friends,
We are happy to be able to announce two amazing new acts for KEEP IT TRUE 13 in April 2010.
The first new addition is legendary Texas metal heroes WATCHTOWER. We tried many years to get them and now finally it worked out. We are more than happy to announce this unique and fascinating band for our billing of KIT 13. They will be co-headliners.
We also always tried to get an eastern Europe band on the billing and this time it worked out finally. KALAPACS, the band around original POKOLGEP singer Jozsef Kalapacs will perform a very special POKOLGEP history set. Also in cooperation with Hungarian label Hammer Records we can give away free KALAPACS CDs to the first 100 KIT 13 ticket buyers at KIT 12.
Also we can finally announce the date of KIT 13. It will be April 23rd and 24th 2010.Finally here is the update on the billing in alphabetical order:

Absolut genial. Wobei ich mich frage, was da noch für Headliner kommen sollen, wenn Watchtower nur Co-Head sind. Schon jetzt viiiel besseres Billing als beim KIT XII. Wenns so weitergeht, könnte es an das vom KIT X rankommen.

Wie versprochen können wir nun endlich den ersten Headliner für KEEP IT TRUE 13 im April 2010 bekannt geben. Es wird die schwedische Doom Legende CANDLEMASS mit einer speziellen Show sein.
CANDLEMASS werden eine spezielle 2 Stunden Show spielen und dabei ihren Klassiker „Epicus Doomicus Metallicus“ komplett mit Originalsänger Johan Langquist performen. As promised we can now reveal the first headliner for KEEP IT TRUE 13 in April 2010. It will be swedisch Doom legends CANDLEMASS with a very special show.
CANDLEMASS will play a very special 2 hour show at KEEP IT TRUE 13 and are going to perform their classic „Epicus Doomicus Metallicus“ album in its entirety with original vocalist Johan Langquist on vocals as part of their set to celebrate their 25th anniversary of the band.
