Roadrunner Records group Opeth has announced that the release of their highly anticipated eleventh studio album, “PALE COMMUNION” has been reslated for AUGUST 26TH. “Many of you have heard the rumours already and we can now confirm that the release of ‘Pale Communion’ has indeed been pushed back to late August,” commented Opeth frontman, Mikael Åkerfeldt. “Several circumstances prevented the band from delivering essential tools to Roadrunner in time which are needed to set up the album release properly and release schedule conflicts made us mutually decide on August instead of June.”
“PALE COMMUNION,” which was produced by the band’s very own Mikael Åkerfeldt and mixed by longtime collaborator and Porcupine Tree frontman/guitarist Steven Wilson, will be heralded by the lead single, “Cusp of Eternity” and available for pre-order starting Tuesday, June 3RD. Pre-

Klingt nach Standard-Ausrede und Alleinschuld des Labels. Dat Ding is‘ schließlich komplett im Kasten, und das Artwork vermutlich auch. Affig, die Fans da jetzt noch mehr als 3 Monate warten zu lassen.

jetzt habe ich wirllich mal wieder bock auf ein neues opeth album und es wird verschoben….

Na klasse. -_-
mir war eher im Kopf, dass das Album im Juni rauskommt. Und jetzt sogar erst Ende August. Nicht das man mal wieder Probleme mit irgendeiner bekloppten super duper Special Edition hat und deshalb gleich alles verschiebt. Tja dann muss eben erst mal die neue Mastodon aushelfen.--

sieht trotzdem ok aus 🙂 bin schon ziemlich heiss aufs album.
Edit: hm wenn Ichs mir nochmal genauer anschaue ist’s doch eher „meh“
Ich finde den einfallenden Lichtstrahl ein wenig seltsam. Ansonsten gefällt’s mir. Klar, dadurch wird das Logo und der Albumtitel hervorgehoben. Man hätte das aber besser machen können.
