Deathspell Omega – Fas – Ite, Maledicti, In Ignem Aeternum: Für mich das beste und am höchsten entwickelte Black Metal Album.

Tulus – Biography Obscene: Ich komme nicht über die Tatsache hinweg, dass die Herren zumindest zeitweise Tulus für Khold geopfert haben. Tulus agieren so viel eigenständiger, kreativer, bizarrer….besser.

Primordial – To The Nameless Dead: Schwierig, schwierig. Zu Beginn wusste ich nicht allzuviel mit diesem Werk anzufangen. Ich fand es schon irgendwo gut, habe mir aber deutlich mehr Potenzial erhofft…
Und dann zündete das Werk plötzlich. Mittlerweile bin ich mir recht sicher, es mit einem kleinen Meisterwerk zu tun zu haben. Primordial erschaffen eine einzigartige dunkle, leere, kalte und geradezu tragische Atmosphäre.

Tarja – My Winter Storm: Stimme gut, Rest befindet sich im Durchschnitt. Es fehlen hörbar die Fähigkeiten eines Holopainen. Nightwish-light mit einem Schuss Within Temptation (zumindest teilweise?). Die „Poison“-Cover ist auch nicht so das Wahre…
