Die CBP hab ich bisher nur einmal im Netz gehört, weil ich sie mir Anfang November gerne mal livehaftig anschauen würde. Das Journey- Cover beweist aber auch, dass dieses Kollektiv durchaus Humor besitzt. Am besten gefällt mir bisher „We Forgotten Who We Are“. Das ist genau die Art Post- meets Artrock, die ich mag. Eignet sich gerade wunderbar für verregnete Herbsttage.

Die „Surfer Rosa“ hab ich aber bisher auch erst 3 mal gehört. Ich liebe aber diese wilde Achterbahnfahrt aus furztrockenen Rock und aufwühlenden Halbballaden. Bei der Doolittle gehen die nicht ganz so guten Songs zwischen den Hits etwas unter, die Surfer Rosa besitzt aber ausschließlich nur gute Songs.

Zu Zola Jesus könnte ich auf deinen Wunsch gerne eine kleine Rezi schreiben. Es ist schon beängstigend, wie Nika Roza Danilova, diese eher zierliche Frau, sich ihren inneren Dämonen stellt und gegen eine weiße, undurchdringliche Wand anzusingen scheint. Conatus lässt ja schon etwas lichtere Momente zu, bleibt aber immer noch in ihren eigenen Universum (wenn auch nicht ganz so versponnen wie es etwa Björk gerade tut).
