SIX FEET UNDER To Release New Album In March – Nov. 24, 2004
Florida-based death metallers SIX FEET UNDER have set „13“ as the title of their new CD, tentatively due in March via Metal Blade Records. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include „Decomposition of the Human Race“, „Somewhere in the Darkness“ and „The Poison Hand“.
Commented singer Chris Barnes: „Just want to fill you all in… this new CD is fully mixed and mastered and after an all night session at the Hit Factory, finishing the mix and then a drive back to Tampa yesterday from Miami at 4am, only to start a photo session with Joe Giron starting yesterday at 11am and finishing up last nite at 9pm, I am sitting here right now cranking the fucking shit out of this motherfucker. It’s full-on brutal death metal guys — I mean, heavy as fuck! The title track is on right now — this is the first CD I’ve done in a long time — probably since ‚Maximum Violence‘ [1999] — that I’m just freaking out on. I don’t know how we put this together, but we did and it’s really, really incredible. Just had to share that with you this new CD will rip your fucking heads off. That’s a promise!“

Dass man die Gitarren kaum raushört. Die Produktion ist komplett auf Gesang abgestimmt, und etwas Bass vielleicht. Barnes brüllt die Instumente in Grund und Boden.

Bin mal gespannt. Solange es besser als „True Carnage“ wird, ist es doch okay 😀

Ich finde die BoB durchaus gut, aber mit ner anderen Produktion wäre sie noch besser. Trotzdem ist der eine oder andere Knaller druff, am geilsten knallt Murdered in the Basement, saugeil!

Hehe oder „Bringer des Blutes“ 😀 Tja, in den Genuss solch eines ulkigen Tracks (also mit der Übersetzung) kommen die Amis net. Finde auch die Deutsche Version ulkiger/besser 😉

Metal Blade Records has set a March 22, 2005 release date for the new SIX FEET UNDER album, „13“.
The follow-up to „Bringer of Blood“ was recorded at Morrisound studios and mixed at the Hit Factory in Florida. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include „Decomposition of the Human Race“, „Somewhere in the Darkness“ and „The Poison Hand“.
Regarding the upcoming CD, SIX FEET UNDER frontman Chris Barnes recently said, „It’s full-on brutal death metal… I mean, heavy as fuck! Wenn man die meisten DM-Neueinsteiger fragt, welche DM-Bands sie kennen, antworten sie meistens mit „Cannibal Corpse, Kataklysm, Amon Amarth, Six Feet Under und In Flames“.
