SLAYER have entered the studio to begin recording their first album with the original lineup since 1990’s „Seasons In the Abyss“. A late 2004 release through American Recordings is expected.As previously reported, SLAYER have been named „Best Band“ in Revolver magazine’s 2004 Readers‘ Poll, and will be featured on the cover of the issue that hits stands March 30. They share the cover with Bam Margera, the star of MTV’s hit show „Viva La Bam“, which was named „Best TV Show“ in the Revolver Readers‘ Poll. SLAYER and Margera recently met at Margera’s home in Pennsylvania to shoot the magazine cover and perform SLAYER-style for an upcoming episode of MTV’s „Viva La Bam“. „Viva La Bam“ will return to Sunday nights on MTV at the end of April.
Look out for SLAYER on the season finale of Discovery Channel’s „Monster Garage“ on April 19. Watch as SLAYER perform in the junkyard, in front of the boxing toyotas turned dueling robots.

Webmaster’s Note: Even though this news story indicate that the new album is to be released at the end of this year, Kerry King and Tom Araya previously indicated many times that the album should be out before this summer, so we will see. However Slayer’s albums and pretty much everything else tend to be delayed over time…so I guess more specific release date on the album will be known around mid to late spring, I would say the album will surface around the Ozzfest 2004 tour or so…
maaaaaan…jeff sagte im oktober das sie im dezember zwischender tour ins studio gehen….und dann das -.-…HAUPTSACHE DAS ALBUM KOMMT!!!!!

es wird gut…wenn du mal in deinem ohr die neue grip.inc und slayer zu seasons in the abyss zeiten hörst,dann kommt man zu dem ergebniss das es einfach geil wird.ich denke das es ein album im seasons stil wird,weilk dave mitspracherecht hat (wers glaubt *hrhrhrhh+)

EDIT:bevor ich es vergesse….wenn ich mir ein album herunterlade….kaufe ich es mir auch als original,ausser es ist scheisse wobei das merkt man meistens nach n paar tracks 😉

is very very gut,auch der gesang diesmal der mir auf den anderen platten n bisschen auf den magen fiel (war doch nich imma der selbe sänger oder ❓ 😕 ???).
na ja es geht um slayer von daher,wenn dave das drumming von incorperated so auf slayer umsetzt (nur mit ner prise mehr aggression) erwaret uns grosses!

Da ich jetzt keine Lust habe all das nochmal zu schreiben hier das ganze in Kurzform:
Ich bin Slaytanics Meinung!! (*g*)
Ich denke, dass das neue Album genial wird und dass sie zu ihren Wurzeln zurückfinden werden.
Ob es letztendlich wirklich so ist bleibt abzuwarten, folglich „we´ll see“ …Zu guter letzt: SSSSSSLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAYYYYYYYEEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!!
