Schwere Entscheidung aber mein absoluter Favorite-Song (obwohl ich eigentlich Schnelleres mag) ist heute Dead-Skin-Mask.
Ansonsten war mir das Album früher zu lahm, jetzt find ichs das beste…naja Geschmäcker ändern sich :wink:.Hat jemand von Euch die Slayer-Vans?
Ich dachte, ich fall vom Glauben ab, als ich die gesehen hab…ÄTZEND!Jop – ich hab mir die Dinger geholt – sehen nicht sehr toll aus. Aber wie oben schon gesagt habe ich mir die Dinger wegen ebay gekauft – in 1-2 Jahren bringen die sicherlich gut was ein 😈 Natürlich werde ich sie auch nicht anziehen.
wieviel haste bei ebay dafür bezahlt?hab mal in n paar läden nachgefragt wieviel denn son paar kosten könnte (hätte damit die selben absichten gehabt wie du) und überall hat man mir preise zwischen 60 und 85 euro genannt,und dies finde ich im moment entschieden zuviel.
wie gesagt anziehen würde ich mir die dinger auch nicht, 1.weil sie irgendwie lächerlich aussehen und 2.weil sie nicht robust sind wie all der plastik kram.--

SLAYER To Document ‚Reign In Blood‘ Performance On Upcoming DVD
SLAYER will film their July 11 show in Augusta, Maine for an upcoming live DVD „Reign in Blood Live: Still Reigning“. The disc will feature a full performance of the 1986 album „Reign in Blood“ by all original members of the veteran thrash metal outfit. The DVD, due on September 28, will have an approximate 75-minute running time and will retail for $14.98.
SLAYER have modified their stage backdrop to reflect the look of the mid-’80s „Reign in Blood“ tour, including the SLAYER eagle and the controversial upside-down crosses that are part of the lighting rig. A ten-camera crew under the direction of Dean Karr (IRON MAIDEN) will be on hand to document the show plus all the backstage action.
„‚Reign in Blood‘ is our signature record, and if people think that it helped set the path for that genre of music, that’s great,“ said vocalist Tom Araya. „It’s a record that means a lot to all of us in the band — it was our first record for a major label, and our first record with [producer] Rick Rubin, who gave it unconditional support.“

Sexual Metal Holocaust will Crush Poser Gay !The first thing I noticed was how long it took to set up the stage. They set an entirely new floor down between Slipknot and Slayer. The cameras were not too obtrusive besides the boom off stage left filming the crowd and long band shots. There will be some UNBELIEVABLE shots of Dave Lombardo as for a couple of songs a camera man stood on the riser filming from the front as another guy fimed him from the rear. Possibly for a multi camera angle feature ala Slipknots Disasterpieces DVD. The band actually stopped and the lights went down after each song I don’t know if that was for editing purposes of what. Tom kept the intros short and sweet and made no references to the filming that I can remember, thanking the crowd many times as always. The band was in rare form and bashed through the set list in machine like fashion. Double bass was loud and clear as the band had the best mix I think I have heard from them in the 7 times over the past 15 years I have seen them. There were several mistakes, Jeff lost his guitar sound completely for the balance of the intro to DEAD SKIN MASK, Dave appeared to drop a stick during the intro part of MANDATORY SUICIDE and Tom missed a vocal cue during the middle of ALTAR OF SACRIFICE. All other songs were close to flawless. The band took a short encore pause from ANGEL to PIECE same as they did on the Jager tour. Blood rained from the lighting rig upon the beginning of RAINING BLOOD soaking Tom and bloodying Kerry (Jeff avoided the bulk of the blood). The only adverse result of the blood was it killed the sound of Daves cymbals for the end of the song when once again it poured blood soaking everything including the drums. The effect was quite striking and the crowd was blown away. A blood soaked Tom addressed the cheering crowd with a sneering smile and the words „We’ll see you in HELL“. Comments fom people leaving the venue were positive and I think the show was recieved extremely well. The blood effect was amazing and worth every penny alone. Incidentally for the Hatebreed fans out there they also filmed their entire set with the same cameras so keep your eyes open for where that footage will surface. That’s all I have so lets pray this DVD gets off on time!!!! SSSLLLAAAYYYEEERRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Slayer sind neben Maiden und Metallica ne Band die man in seinem leben als Metaller zu 100000% gehört haben MUSS,sonst ist die daseinsberechtigung dahin 😈 .Jedoch muss man diese Bands nicht lieben 8)

Rick Rubin’s American Recordings label — home to veteran Los Angeles thrashers SLAYER — is making the move from Island Def Jam to the Interscope side, according to Hits Daily Double.
SLAYER had previously announced that they were putting the recording sessions for their new album on hold while Rubin began negotiating a new deal with Universal Music Group (Island Def Jam’s parent company). Rubin has worked with SLAYER since he produced the band’s 1986 thrash classic „Reign in Blood“, and his status could greatly affect the level of support American gives any new album.
„The minute (Rubin) gets that situated we’ll continue the process of finishing the music,“ SLAYER frontman Tom Araya told The News Tribune last month.
SLAYER’s upcoming DVD, „Reign in Blood Live: Still Reigning“, is scheduled for release on September 28.
