MÄCHTIG! Das ist der erste Eindruck der sich auch komplett durch das gesamte Album hält! MÄCHTIGe Soundwelten deren Zentrum DAS RIFF ist! Unglaublich fetter Sound, lange Songs (keiner unter 6 Minuten) mit der vollen Breitseite Stoner/Psych/Doom/Retro/Cosmic Spacerock mit Sitar, Keyboard, Tanpura und vor allem Gitarre, Gitarre und noch mal Gitarre! Craig Williamson (ex-Datura!) mit neuer Band und der besten Scheibe in dieser Richtung seit langem, dazu grandioser Gesang und ein Soundtrip sondergleichen…einfach MÄCHTIG!

Arc Of Ascent sind ok, aber bin auch kein großer Fan von Datura. Mit fehlt da bisschen das besondere.
Samsara Blues Experiment hat mir letzt schon jemand gezeigt, fand ich ganz gut. Psychedelisch auch wenn die Vocals nicht so passen find ich. Aber schön spacig. Und wenn ich Berlin lese dann frag ich mich wann Oozing Goo endlich mal was rausbringen.

Psych-Stoner-Folk-Rock mit ordentlichen 70’s Einfluss! Richtig geil! Haben auch schon mit Graveyard, Witchcraft etc. gespielt und das völlig zu recht!

Richtig cooler 70’s Rock á la Grand Funk Railroad / Captain Beyond oder auch Led Zep.
Aber auch Kyuss-Feeling kommt immermal wieder auf. Vorallem weil der Sänger mich auch streckenweise bissl an Garcia erinnert

Mystic Frequency Worm is born when Juan Luis (Glow…), Txema (Sexus, La Dolorosa…) and Vic (Yoghourt Daze, Counter Clockwise…) find themselves looking for the same constellation in a really misty environment.
As soon as low frequencies got together and the first solo note turned up they knew they had found the right path to feel the worm inside. They found in Ralph (Glow) the ability to turn those vibrations into words. Then, metamorphosis happened. Helped by different sort of toxic substances they found on the way, strong hormones they developed and human-proved volume, they eventually managed to get the proper frequencies to make their guts and limbic system get in resonance with their tunes. The early 70’s karma combined with 90’s adrenaline had generated the worm, the way to get gradually higher. No rush, no worries, no pain, nothing but you and your emotions.

hab übrigens seit Freitag endilch die Ancestors – of sound mind hier und hab dann gleich mal den beiliegenden Downloadcode genutzt um mir das Ding auch gleich aufn PC zu ziehen. Hab sie jetzt 3,4 mal durchgehört – echt richtig geile Scheibe! Morz Tipp von dir!
