Seems like I have to get into comics a bit more. Havent even heard of watchmen.

Toxic_ViolenceWell, I’m not really into comics… just like the MARVEL ones, but I liked the Watchem film. Are the comics simmilar?

I haven’t seen it but what I heard of friends is that it doesn’t even come close to the graphic novel.

It is for sure the adaption of the Graphic Novel but it does not come close.
The comic is just leauges above.

You can only buy it as a complete, graphic novel, costs about €30.

At topic:

I had a look at „Watchmen“, too. It looked very good. What I like to have is „The Dark Tower“-graphic novel. I worshiped the books by King and as I heard of the graphic novel I wanted to have it. To see if others think of the story like I did. That was about two years ago. So far I do not own one copy of the comics but my girlfriend’s father does. I haven’t read it but it seems very good although a little different than I expected…
