Bubba Ho-Tep Wenn ich Thrash hören möchte, möchte ich Thrash hören…ganz einfach.
Und wenn Metallica keinen Bock auf Thrash haben, dann spielen sie keinen. Bei dieser Band stellt fast jedes Album einen Stilbruch zum vorherigen dar, man erinnere sich nur an die Fan-Reaktionen, als sie auf „Ride the Lightning“ mit „Fade to Black“ eine Halbballade gepackt haben. Und wären Metallica wirklich eine Band die kommerziell auf Nummer sicher gehen wollte, hätte es Platten wie „St. Anger“ und auch die „Death Magnetic“ nicht gegeben, sondern Black Album die drölfzigste.

NecrofiendIch sehe eigentlich überhaupt nix positives an ihrer weiteren Bandgeschichte…
Damit meinte ich eher, dass es sich für METALLICA positv auf ihre Bandgeschichte ausgewirkt hat, z.B. in finanzieller Hinsicht! Durch diverse Stilwechsel haben sie ein breiteres Publikum angesprochen, als zu Zeiten von „and Justice for all“. Wenn ich daran denke, wieviele Blagen plötzlich METALLICA geil fanden, als die ihr „Black Album“ rausbrachten…!
Ob und wie sich METALLICA für jeden Einzelnen zum Positiven oder Negativen verändert haben ist jedem selbst überlassen.--

So schaut es aus. Death Magnetic ist für mich eine absolut positive Überraschung, von daher bin ich sehr gespannt was die Truppe noch so alles abliefern wird.

Ich würde nur zu gerne mal wissen was mit metallica passiert wäre wenn Dave Mustaine dabei geblieben wäre
