Mir wird wohl immer einer fehlen – Die Zwölf Geschworenen werde ich mir wohl nie reinziehen.

Es war einmal in Amerika.
Kann mich den allgemeinen positiven und euphorischen Kritiken gegenüber diesem Epos absolut nicht anschließen. Ja, Sergio Leone, ja, Robert de Niro… Aber auch: Langweilig & langatmig! Am Ende habe ich den kaum mehr ertragen, und das lag nicht daran, dass mir solche Filmlängen Probleme bereiten. Eine wirkliche Enttäuschung.
