LIFE OF AGONY Begin Recording New Album – Nov. 4, 2004
Reunited New York metallers LIFE OF AGONY have begun tracking their highly anticipated new album for Epic Records in Los Angeles with producer Greg Fidelman (SLIPKNOT, JET, AUDIOSLAVE). The band recently completed three weeks of pre-production in Woodstock, NY, where they finished writing all of the material for the record. A tentative release date is scheduled for Spring 2005. A recent photo of LIFE OF AGONY with Fidelman can be viewed at this location.
LIFE OF AGONY’s upcoming album will be their first collection of new material since „Soul Searching Sun“, which was released in 1997.
LIFE OF AGONY’s last release was a live album and DVD, entitled „River Runs Again: Live 2003“. The two-disc set was recorded during the group’s sold-out reunion shows at Irving Plaza in New York City on January 3-4, 2003 and was issued through SPV Records worldwide.

Soll ja zumindest stark in die River Runs Red Ecke tendieren. Die neuen Songs die sie bis jetzt live gespielt haben machten auch deutlich das sie wieder rockiger zur Sachen gehen als auf der Soul Searching Sun.

LIFE OF AGONY will fly home for a two-week break from the recording sessions for their new album so that drummer Sal Abruscato and his fiancée Diana Marin can tie the knot on November 28, 2004 in New York City. The band will return to Los Angeles on December 1 to continue recording with producer Greg Fidelman (SLIPKNOT, JET, JOHNNY CASH). „It’s exciting times for all of us,“ Sal said in a press release.

Abruscato is currently scheduled to appear at the 2005 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA. It is not presently clear if any of the other bandmembers will attend the annual music trade event.

LIFE OF AGONY have been tracking their highly anticipated new album for Epic Records in California with producer Greg Fidelman (SLIPKNOT, JET, AUDIOSLAVE). The band have recorded all of the drum tracks for the recording and have begun laying down bass and guitar overdubs. The drums were tracked at the legendary Sunset Sound recording studio in Hollywood, CA, where several DOORS albums were made. Other artists that have recorded at Sunset Sound over the years include LED ZEPPELIN, VAN HALEN and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. A tentative spring 2005 release is expected.

The group has been recording tracks since October in two studios in Hollywood, CA, with producer Greg Fidelman (SLIPKNOT, JET, AUDIOSLAVE). Drums were tracked at the legendary Sunset Sound recording studio (home to where several DOORS albums were made), while bass, guitars, vocals and other overdubs were recorded at Westlake Studios (RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS). The mix will commence in January 2005.

Reunited New York metallers LIFE OF AGONY have set „Broken Valley“ as the title of their much-anticipated comeback studio album, tentatively due in May via Epic Records. Check out the album cover artwork at this location.

Auf diese Scheibe warte ich seitdem ich gehört habe das Keith Caputo zurück zur Band gefunden hat. Und bald ist es soweit – G E I L ! ! ! ! !--

Stiefel - AN! Rucksack - AUF! Vorwärts - MARSCH!!!Ich finde alle 4 Alben richtig geil. Die DVD rockt vor Allem. Nur schade dass der Übersong pretend dort „nur“ als akkustik version drauf ist.
