Manisch-getriebene Sturm und Drang-Drums rennen in den gleißenden Abgrund wie die Motten ins elektrische Licht. Und dann noch dieser Text, dieser eine wunde Punkt, den der Song so nanometergenau und gnadenlos trifft…wah. Erstaunlich, dass die Herren 16 Jahre nach dem Bandklassiker „Thunder & Consolation“ mitreißender und intensiver zu klingen vermögen als fast alle Songs von diesem meinerseits hochgeschätzten ’89er-Werk. Ach ja, der angesprochene Moment: 1:12 bis Schluss, also wenn die Drums einsetzen.
