Hier mal ein kleines Update zu Skyclad…
As we wrap up this discussion, I want to ask you about the current status in SKYCLAD.
Oh, some strange shit has happened recently. Last year we introduced Dave Pugh back in the band and we had plans to do a new album but Kevin [Ridley] found it hard to juggle his life and the band at the same time, he got married last year and he and his wife are expecting a baby, so it’s difficult for him to write lyrics. So, I and Graeme thought to write some lyrics while Dave is writing some music something that will refresh the band a little bit. And then a bad thing happened; Arron [Walton] our drummer had two strokes a few weeks ago and we had to cancel some gigs. Apparently he is recovering really well and he is also the youngest member of the band so it was really weird you know. We hope he will get the ‘all-clear’ in August. Anyway I have talked with Graeme because we have to make another SKYCLAD album and again it is not about money because after all, the band is not as big as it was and because other reasons. We do this because we love it. We have written material that would be enough for two SKYCLAD albums but we have no lyrics.

Kann man alles sehr gut nachvollziehen. Ich hoffe da kommt in den nächsten Jahren nochmal was, aber das Privatleben geht nunmal vor!
