DREAM THEATER’s last CD, „Systematic Chaos“, opened with 36,000 units in 2007 to enter The Billboard 200 chart at No. 19. 2005’s „Octavarium“ premiered with 27,000 copies to debut at No. 36.
„The Eternal Return“, the fifth full-length record from Washington D.C.-based metallers DARKEST HOUR, sold 4,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 104 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at position No. 1 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart.
Infini“, the new album from Canadian metal innovators VOIVOD, sold around 840 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD landed at position No. 67 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart.
