In other news, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE’s third album, „As Daylight Dies“, which was released in November 2006, has just been certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of 500,000 copies). That album featured the group’s highest-charting radio singles to date, including „My Curse“ and the fan favorite, a cover version of DIO’s „Holy Diver“.
„As Daylight Dies“ opened with just under 60,000 units to debut at position No. 32 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was the follow up to 2004’s Grammy-nominated album „The End of Heartache“, which was also certified gold.
„No Time To Bleed“, the sophomore album from California deathcore masters SUICIDE SILENCE, sold 14,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 32 on The Billboard 200 chart.
