ROB ZOMBIE’s new album, „Hellbilly Deluxe 2“, sold 49,000 copies in its first week of release to debut at position No. 8 on The Billboard 200 chart. This is less than 50 percent of the opening tally of ZOMBIE’s previous CD, „Educated Horses“, which landed at No. 5 on the Billboard chart after premiering with 107,000 units back in April 2006.
Former KISS and current GRAND FUNK RAILROAD guitarist Bruce Kulick’s long-awaited third solo album, „BK3“, sold around 1,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at No. 12 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart.
The self-titled debut album from CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED — the new project led by acclaimed metal drummer Richard Christy (ICED EARTH, DEATH, LEASH LAW, CONTROL DENIED, BURNING INSIDE) — sold around 2,200 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at No. 6 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart.
