„The Panic Broadcast“, the new album from Swedish metallers SOILWORK, sold around 5,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 88 on The Billboard 200 chart.
SOILWORK’s previous CD, „Sworn to a Great Divide“, opened with 5,000 units back in October 2007 to land at No. 148.

„The Panic Broadcast“ has registered the following first-week chart positions:

Germany: #24 (week 1), #80 (week 2)
Sweden: #37 (week 1), #29 (week 1)
U.K.: #42
Austria: #47
Switzerland: #60
Europe (Billboard): #67
USA: #88

„Stampede“, the sophomore album from the metal juggernaut known as HELLYEAH sold 28,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 8 on The Billboard 200 chart.
HELLYEAH’s self-titled debut CD opened with 45,000 units back in April 2007 to land at No. 9.

KORN’s new album, „Korn III – Remember Who You Are“, sold 63,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 2 on The Billboard 200 chart.
KORN’s last, untitled album opened with 123,000 units back in August 2007 to land at No. 2. That number was slightly more than half of the 221,000 first-week tally achieved by its predecessor, „See You On The Other Side“, which debuted at No. 3 back in December 2005.

„Meridional“, the fifth album from Atlanta-based post-hardcore rockers NORMA JEAN, sold 9,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 45 on The Billboard 200 chart.
NORMA JEAN’s fourth CD, „The Anti Mother“, opened with more than 16,000 copies back in August 2008 to land at No. 29.

„A Star-Crossed Wasteland“, the third album from Southern California’s IN THIS MOMENT, sold 10,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 40 on The Billboard 200 chart.
IN THIS MOMENT’s sophomore CD, „The Dream“, opened with more than 8,000 copies back in October 2008 to land at No. 70.
