Single release
The release date has been changed again. Now it is set for July 26, 2004 for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. A month later, on August 30, 2004 the single will be released internationally. The official site will post a list of which countries in which the single will be released as soon as it is known. It is still possible that these dates will change, so stay tuned.Single remixes
The Pet Shop Boys and Arthur Baker are set to do remixes for the new single! From the Pet Shop Boys‘ website:Pet Shop Boys are at it again! They’ve been secretly working on some remixes for Rammstein’s upcoming single called „Mein Teil“. The single will be released early August. The Pet Shop Boys have created a main mix and a 7″ mix for „Mein Teil“ called „PSB You are what you eat Mix“ and an electro mix called „PSB There are no guitars on this Mix“. At the moment, Rammstein has not decided which versions will be included in their release. Be sure to visit Rammstein’s official website for all the release details.
From the name of the first remix, it should be clear what the song is probably about.
