That’s what I mean, learn something useful like Vietnamese for your missus. Something you can actually work with.
On the other hand, you never know what you need a language for (Latin aside) in the future. My partner wishes he had learned more than 2 months of German when he was in school. Who would have know he’d have a German lass later in life 😆
