…And you know what really grinds my gears? (Even more than senseless smalltalk):
I’ve been to Ireland lately and noticed that peaple there (at least in Dublin) have the strange habit to use the question „How are you?“ as greeting but without actually having any interest in one persons wellbeing. As I’ve been adressed in that manner for the first time and was already preparing a detailled insight within my emotional frame of mind, the person was already adressing someone else in the same manner, leaving me back confused and somehow feeling… used and left behind.
I find this to be a cruel way to treat a human being!
