KnowyourmemeSpurdo Spärde was born on a Finnish imageboard Kuvalauta, in 2009, as an ironization of stereotypical underage newfags. Pedobear-meme was considered on Finnish chans as a meme that only newfags and underage posters would find funny to post. In summer 2009, the admin of a Finnish gaming forum ‘Jonneweb’ – visited mainly by 8-15 year old ‘Jonnes’ – posted links on the forum redirecting to Kuvalauta.fi. The users of Kuvalauta were horrified that there would come lots of underage newfags who would shitpost as much as possible.
Soon it became a great meme to ironize Jonnes; post memes a stereotypical Jonne would post, for example pedobear. The users started to call Pedo bear as ‘budro poar’, ‘pedros spora’, ‘purdo perde’ etc.[1], because a stereotypical Jonne wouldn’t know how to write it correctly. Pedo bear evolved around half year till it was formed to ‘Spurdo Spärde’ [2], a bad Paint-drawn pedo bear which CAPSES ALL THE TEXT, speaks very bad language, drinks energy drinks, adds smileys :DD, etc – everything a stereotypical 12 years old ‘Jonne’ would do.[3]
