Jetzt hatte ich die Gelegenheit das Hydra Release günstig (naja…n 20er) abzugreifen.
Was die Ironie zur Folge hatte, dass ich dadurch jetzt meine Antwort bekommen habe. Life is hard…
Ok hier die liner notes hinten im Booklet vom Caring And Killing (Hydra Head Records) Release:
This CD Exists to make an overpriced release (the lost and found version) Obsolete and to make these now hard to find recordings available to the public at a reasonable price.
The lost and found version of the CD was suppose to be for european release only but unfortunately it has been readily available through random distributors in the united states with an inflated price tag.
So we dealt with a pretty sketchy label in lost and found and yes, they certainly made a profit off of ourseves but that is anotther story entirely and something which is irrelevant at this point in the time. Their priorities differ quite a bit from ours so thanks but no thanks. This is our version, not some shiny polished product for you to consume. Hardcore in its rawest form does not need a corporate company´s support in order to survive. Hardcore does not need a source of capital which does not care who the victims are. It is rather sad to think that exploiding such a culture that is built on so much positive human emotion can literally be bought and sold to such a degree.
Hardcore to us as A Band is all about self motivation and making things happen. So what happens when punk rock let´s its guard down and dips its toe in big buisiness? Sure youget mighty nice lokking embroidered sweatshorts, hot looking glossy promo shots and every other piece of senseless garbage you can wasste your money on. But it is hollow, it is soulless and embodies every single evil that can be found in a materialistic culture.
To sum this up, Fuck every piece of shit of shit person that wants to own you and wants to dictate to you what your own personal revolution should be. They are all human garbage. Our faith doesn´t reside in that same old pigeon holded philosophy. Don´t let them deaden your nerves and don´t let them use your own efforts to dig your own graves. Make your own decisions and be responsible for your own specific actions
