Doom/DowntempoFACING THE SWARM THOUGHT create in their songs dark sound sceneries, inspired by anonymous post modern urbanity which stands out in the horizon, tearing up the scenery with furious double-bass attacks, taking short breaks, then go over again in brutal moshdowns with precise and sharp riffs. Elements of different styles are integrated in the sound to present a vast, sombre and post apocalyptic soundscape.
Revenge from Mars
Hardcore, Punk + Noise Elementerevenge from mars existiert in dieser besetzung seit ca einem jahr. die musik ist das produkt verschiedenster einflüsse die von hardcore über punk bis noiserock gehen. die mischung klinngt von, krachig und effektbeladen bis zu minimalistisch melancholisch. rfm spielen live, wenn alles klappt, ohne pause und mit permanenter live videoshow, so dass es auch was für die augen gibt und die musik bei nichtgefallen trotzdem ertragen werden kann (haha). die texte sind keine politischen pamphlete, nehmen aber oft bezug zu poilitischen und gesellschaftlichen thematiken. rfm versteht sich als strikt antifaschistische, antisexistische und antirassistische band. ausserdem ist der d.i.y. faktor von grosser bedeutung.
Last Grain In The Hourglass
Progressive/Experimental RockFounded in spring 2006, LAST GRAIN IN THE HOURGLASS is a hybrid of four peoples ideas and visions. Long-time friends Stefan (guitar) and Florian (bass) already played in various bands before, but with the demise of their previous project they found young drummer Max. Soon afterwards Chris who is also playing with Munichs Chaos Metal-Act RAPTURE was taking the vocals duties.
Through a clear concept the band quickly wrote 5 songs that were recorded in August 2006 by guitarist Stefan in the bands rehearsal room. Three of them were included on the first demo-record. In September 2006 the band started playing these and some other, new songs live, creating some very own atmosphere on stage. The music of LAST GRAIN IN THE HOURGLASS is not easy to describe, mixing up decent progressive rock with heavy rock outbursts, being one time quiet, the other time heavy and relentless.
