+++ Pressure Fest August huge update!
After weeks of talking all possibilities regarding venues through, going back and forth, negotiations with different locations and so on and so forth we have finally set a location for the Pressure Fest in August: Turbinenhalle Oberhausen.
This is a departure from the style of location in Herne in different ways, as this location in Oberhausen usually serves as a discotheque. This of course has negative as well as positive sides to it. First off the sound in this will be amazing. As mentioned, this building is designed and equiped to house this kind of music events, unlike the ice hockey arena of the previous years. The downside is that there won’t be a huge park surrounding the venue and naturally also NO CAMPING POSSIBILITIES.
We know most of you care more about the park and being able to camp instead of having a good sound in the venue, but after carefully thinking everything through we came to the decision that the other venue we were in talks with that would have provided such a setting just was too much of a financial and organisational risk to take.
We hope you understand and hope we’ll see all of you this August in Oberhausen! The reason why you definetely should is the incredible line up we have put together which is finally complete. 10 new bands have been added to round things up including legends such as the beatdown godfathers DENIED, the totally unfuckwithable FUCKED UP, the SXE warriors CASEY JONES and more.
