1. Agalloch fourth full length album to be released through Viva Hate Records in Europe

Viva Hate Records will release their fourth album entitled ”Marrow Of The Spirit”, the official follow-up to 2006 full length ”Ashes Against The Grain”, in Europe in November 2010.
Not only does ”Marrow Of The Spirit”, compared to its predecessors, feature the fundamentally significant fresh qualitites which mark each new Agalloch release, but it is also the first album recorded with new drummer Aesop Dekker, also musically active in LUDICRA and WORM OUROBOROS.
On top of that, ”Marrow Of The Spirit” is loaded with guest appearances by numerous musicians such as cellist Jackie Perez Gratz (GRAYCEON, GIANT SQUID, ASUNDER, AMBER ASYLUM), Jeffrey Neblock (VINDENSANG) and Nathan Carson (WITCH MOUNTAIN, SUNN 0))), TWO-TON BOA ). The album was recorded and mixed in July and August of 2010 at Audible Alchemy Studios in Portland, Oregon, in collaboration with FAUST guitarist Steven Wray Lobdell, while the mastering was conducted in San Francisco at Trakworx Studio by Justin Weis (LUDICRA, SLOUGH FEG, HAMMERS OF MISFORTUNE).
With its overall playing time exceeding sixty minutes, ”Marrow Of The Spirit” is definitely the most profound and sinister recording AGALLOCH have put out thus far.

Also Agalloch’s new output MARROW OF THE SPIRIT reached #4 in the ranking of the LEGACY Soundcheck (Germany’s extreme Metal bible).
As for the pressing information about their new release some of you might have heard some rumors about it, yet.
There’s going to be one regular version and one hand numbered limited 2000 edition.
