joa, geht mir ähnlich. Vieles ist sehr nett anzuhören, aber von den 13 Songs stechen bisher nur wenig hervor. Schön finde ich den letzten Track „Raadh“, der Titelsong/Opener geht auch gut rein. Der Rest muss sich noch etwas diversifizieren, allerdings muss ich auch zugeben, dass ich noch nicht so viel Zeit und Aufmerksamkeit investiert habe. Wenn ich da nochmal bewusst durchhöre, könnten sich sicherlich noch ein paar andere Nummern hervortun.
Alles in allem bin ich aber schon zufrieden, ein abschließendes Fazit kann ich noch nicht geben.
Mir ist aber aufgefallen, dass es das erste Album ist, auf dem Janne Liljeqvist nicht die Geige spielt. Im Booklet steht ein gewisser Martin Björklund. Und tatsächlich ist die Geige nicht besonders präsent auf dem Album – ist mir aber so erstmal gar nicht aufgefallen.

In mid April 2012 violin player Janne Liljekvist suddenly decides to leave the band. Since the work with the new material already is in progress and running smoother than ever the band has decided not to look for a new violin player, at least not for now. Have no doubts though; the Månegarm sound will remain intact and with the help of friends the “violin issue” will be solved on the next album. The new album is expected to be released in late 2012/beginning 2013 through Napalm Records so keep your eyes and ears wide open for the album of the year; it will be a killer!!
