Verstehe ich das richtig: Insgesamt ist das Boxset also nur eine Erfindung der Plattenfirma und die Band steht gar nicht dahinter? Gleichzeitig kann man sich allerdings die Einzelteile (z.B. das Mediabook, den Anhänger und die Tasche) einzelnd bei der Band bestellen?
Die Logik verstehe ich nicht (abgesehen von irgendwelchen vertriebstechnischen Gründen) – wer kann mir da helfen?
Aha, scheinbar bezog sich sein Kommentar auf eine frühere Boxversion, denn mittlerweile wurde auf Facebook ein Bild der bei Century Media vorbestellbaren Box veröffentlicht. Hier das Statement von Herrn Fischer.

Triptykon and Century Media Records/Prowling Death Records are proud to announce a special limited edition box set of the band’s second album, Melana Chasmata, containing the album’s main Mediabook CD edition as well as a selection of unique Triptykon paraphernalia. The Melana Chasmata Mediabook features a 32-page booklet and an additional 12-panel fold-out cross-booklet; the paraphernalia comprises a silver Triptykon-„T“ necklace, 2 specially manufactured Triptykon candles, a Triptykon tote bag, a poster, and 3 postcards.
The box set will be limited to 2000 copies worldwide.

Naja, irgendwie merkwürdig das alles, aber nun gut. Da „haben besser ist als brauchen“ hatte ich meine BEstellung ohnehin nicht zurückgezogen.
