Quote:VELVET REVOLVER: ‚Slither‘ Full-Length MP3 Available For Download – Apr. 7, 2004„Slither“, the first single from VELVET REVOLVER’s much-anticipated debut album, „Contraband“, has been made available for download in MP3 format at this location (courtesy of FMQB.com).
„Contraband“, due on June 8 through RCA Records, will include twelve of the more than fifty tracks the band co-wrote before and after vocalist Scott Weiland (ex-STONE TEMPLE PILOTS) joined the lineup last spring. The CD was produced by Josh Abraham (LIMP BIZKIT, STAIND) and mixed by Andy Wallace (NIRVANA, WHITE ZOMBIE, LINKIN PARK, SLAYER, SEPULTURA). Mastering took place on December 19 in New York City.
VELVET REVOLVER finished filming the „Slither“ video last weekend with director Kevin Kerslake.

Look for the „Slither“ video to premiere Tuesday, April 27 at 9:00 PM Eastern/Pacific as part of MTV2’s „Makes The Video“.
VELVET REVOLVER will embark on a North American tour beginning on May 13 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Musik Messi (© creeping deathaaa)Hab die Hälfte bisher durchgehört und bin auch noch nicht so richtig begeistert (was ich von Slither noch war!). Nach 1x hören kann man aber nicht viel dazu sagen, sie wächst bestimmt noch…

Ich finde es wird in der mitte schwächer zum ende hin aber wieder besser. Die ersten 1-3 und die letzten 9-13 Stücke sind richtig gut.

Slither war ja schon ein guter Vorgeschmack aber auf der Platte gibt es Stücke die Slither locker in die Tasche stecken können. Ich sag nur Headspace, Spectacle oder Do it for the kids. Wer braucht schon Axl wenns Scott Weilandt besser macht. Am geilsten ist aber, dass Slash, Duff und Matt Sorum scheins absolut nichts verlernt haben. Dave Kushner ist im übrigen auch nicht schlecht! Hoffenltlich bleibt der gute Scott von den Rauschmitteln weg!

Die Legende lebt, wenn auch der Wind sich dreht, unser Club wird niemals untergehen.Habe die CD heute auch endlich bekommen, allerdings noch nicht angehört. Werde ich aber gleich nachholen, mal sehen wie sie mir gefällt.
