naja ich verbessere mal nach den gegebenen vorschlägen

also hier ist der aktualisierte songtext!

Und leute: Wenn ihr irgendwas scheisse an dem text findet, sagt es ruhig, ich freu mich über eure kritiken, denn die zeigen mir das ihr ehrlich seid und ausserdem kann ich den so überarbeiten dass was richtig gutes am ende rauskommt!!

achja @ errraddicator:
bei deiner ersten antwort darauf sprachst du von abgelutschter wortwahl und etwas Manowar-Brothers-Of-Steel-Fighting-With-Honor-And-Dying-For-Sarah-Connor mäßiges – sag mir was du damit meinst damit ichs vielleicht mal überdenken kann diesen textstellen zu überarbeiten? oder meinst du etwa das thema des liedes ^^

Holy Cross

Verse 1
Long he’s been gone stopped playing his song
Was nothing to hear – was nothing to fear
But now she is back and with her comes death
The whore of destruction and chaos called war

And as we stand there – legion by legion
With swords in our hands in the name of our lands
Determined to win and to show them its might
The might of the flash of the holy light

Verse 2
The trumpets blow we attack the foe
The massacre begins – the face of our sins
Blood and intestines all over the place
This battle a sign of unholy disgrace

We’re starting to siege their capital city
But the enemy defeat us scathingly
Our crusade has failed – a humbling loss
And so we shall die for the holy cross

Verse 3
But in spite of the fact the battle is lost
We’ll not wont give up, we’ll not exhaust
Determined I sustain and rivet my sword
To die in the name of the christian lord

But soon it is blatent – we’ll all will die
My comrades get slaughtered – I hear them cry
But hearten me up – prepared for our loss
To die in the name of the holy cross

Verse 4
The slaughtering ends – my last stand fails
I feel cold steel glide into my entrails
I fall in the mud and look to the sky
It will be the last time before I will die

I say a last prayer to the dark sky
Prepared for my death – and so do I die
Devote my last words to my lord
And die in the name of the christian lord…

so ich hoff ich konnts euch ein wenig besser gestalten, also wenn ihr vorschläge habt, immer her damit !

OK; so würd ich’s jetzt aber auch lassen, es soll ja immerhin auch DEIN Text bleiben. Mit der Zeit wirst du eh Gefühl fürs Texteschreiben kriegen, und fürs erste Mal ist der wirklich sehr gut!!!!
