Das die Musik gut ist, läßt sich kaum abstreiten. Mag eigentlich auch Bands, die sich so Metal gegen. Aber das Problem bei Manowar, daß denen jedliche Selbstironie fällt, und daher der Anschein erweckt wird ihr Image ist auch nur ein Image. Wirkt irgendwie übertrieben und aufgesetzt. Vielleicht ist ihnen auch nur der Erfolg zu Kopf gestiegen. Kann halt nicht sagen, wie sie in den Achtzigern rüberkamen.
