Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based Christian metalcore quintet AUGUST BURNS RED has set „Leveler“ as the title its fourth album, due on June 21 via the band’s longtime label Solid State Records.
For „Leveler“, AUGUST BURNS RED re-teamed with super producer Jason Suecof, the man behind the board on the band’s previous CD, 2009’s „Constellations“. The result is an album that pushes the band’s sonic boundaries in every direction, and yet is unquestionably heavier than its predecessor.
„Putting out a fourth record is a little scary because we obviously have our sound figured out at this point, but we don’t want to put out a record that just sounds like a redux of our previous albums,“ explains guitarist JB Brubaker. „Our tastes are always evolving as musicians and we’ve been motivated to progress as a band and push ABR in different directions, while maintaining the characteristics that made us the band we are in the first place.“

ja wird bestimmt gut. Die Produzentenwahl is auch gelungen. Der sound von Constellations war auch gut.

Ich freue mich schon ziemlich auf das neue Album. Bisher wurde ich noch nie enttäuscht von dieser Band. Bin sehr gespannt.

Machen sehr gute Musik:).
Und den Fronter find ich verdammt gut:D. Da sehen die einfachsten Moves super cool aus^^. Gibbet selten wie ich finde--

thrill seeker is noch ein sehr fieses teil, im vergleich zu constellations und messengers… vielleicht find ich sie gerade deshalb am besten…
messengers ist aber auch sehr stark… ich hör die beiden jedenfalls regelmäßiger als die constellations, die für mich stellenweis etwas langweilig ist..
