ich erfreue mich gerade mal wieder king diamonds debut „fatal portrait“. gefällt mir sogar besser als abigail. im vergleich zu mercyful fate hat sich ja (gott sei dank) nicht wirklich was verändert. vielleicht etwas melodischer. durchschnittliche oder gar schlechte songs kann ich hier nicht finden. im gegenteil! nur anspruchsvolle und zugleich eingängige lieder. abwechslung findet man zu genüge und irgendwie hat das album irgendwas kaltes und düsteres. dann noch das cover. einfach nur geil … :mrgit:

irgendwo hast du recht. von den neueren hab ich nicht alle. aber von den scheiben die ich hab find ich fatal portrait am besten. aber eigentlich mag ich mercyful fate mehr als king diamond.

Finde das nimmt sich nicht so viel, aber frühe Mercyful Fate find ich auch am Besten, vor allem Melissa, aber der gesamte Rest ist ziemlich gleich auf.
Die aktuelle King Diamond fehl mir aber noch…

Mir gefällt Melissa auch mit am besten aber von den Diamond Scheiben ziehe ich Abigail allen anderen vor, besonders The Family Ghost und A Mansion in Darkness sind Übersongs.
Zur aktuellen Scheibe kann ich noch gar nicht so viel sagen, ich hab kurz reingehört und fand sie soweit ganz okay war aber nicht so dass sie sofort gezündet hat und mich sofort fesseln konnte wie es damals bei „Abi“ der Fall war.--
Stimmt schon, die neue King ist nicht so eingängig wie die Vorgänger. Nach ein paar Durchläufen kommt sie aber doch sehr gut. Es bleibt also dabei – es gibt keine einzige schwache King Diamond Scheibe (Mercyful Fate eingeschlossen).

The group’s musical direction will be „a combination of their musical backgrounds [to] give the fans exactly what they expect,“ according to a statement released to BLABBERMOUTH.NET. The band has already commenced the songwriting process for its debut album, which „will be an extraordinary fusion of power, speed, epic and symphonic metal elements.“
To round out the lineup, the band is still looking for a suitable bass player.

heiß! Wenn Thomen Stauch dabei ist, werd ich mir das definitiv besorgen. Und auch die andern Musiker klingen vielversprechend.
