LastFm sagt, letzte Woche 2 Bands mit Riesenabstand vorne.

1. Parkway Drive
Überrascht mich ein wenig, war mir gar nicht aufgefallen, dass ich die soviel gehört hab. Gerade das letzte Album „Horizons“ hats mir angetan, die Band schafft den Spagat zwischen Hardcore und Death Metal perfekt. Etwas gemäßigter als Black Dahlia Murder, einfach klasse.

2. The Offspring.
Naja, hab ich halt die komplette Discografie durchgehört und noch ein paar einzelne Songs, siehe auch mein Thread im Plattenladen.

Alles was danach kommt ist eigentlich belanglos gegen diese Übermacht. Es kommen noch weitere Bands, die ich kürzlich live gesehen hab (This Is Hell, Comeback Kid, The Warriors, Still Remains) sowie die letzten Werke von Avantasia und Saidian, da beide Bands demnächst ja was neues bringen.

Warum sollte Musik schlecht sein, nur weil sie kommerziell erfolgreich ist? Vielleicht ist sie auch deswegen besonders gut.
