Wie klingt Chris Barnes stimme eigentlich wenn er spricht???eigentlichz iemlich normal er nuschellt halt wie ein ami hal:)

Hab mir gestern die Mühe gemacht nochmals alle SFU-Alben kurz anzuhören und hab für mich festgehalten, dass mit dem Ausstieg von Allen West der Abstieg von SFU begonnen hat. Die ersten 2 Scheiben sind einfach durchgehend geil und fräsen sich im Hirn fest. Maximum Violence war mit Abstrichen noch Klasse und die letzten 2 offiziellen sind o.k. aber nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Ich frag mich echt warum Chris auf BOB und TC zwanghaft versucht so tief wie möglich zu singen, waren für mich die Vocals auf Warpath einfach authentisch und genial zugleich. Werde mir aber wahrscheinlich trotzdem wieder die neue zulegen und wieder zum gleichen Ergebnis kommen…

Ja also ich muss sagen ich finde auch Warpath und Haunted am besten. Das war noch richtig fetter DM aber danach haben Six Feet Under etwas nachgelassen finde ich aber trotzdem sind MM TC und BoB nette Alben.

Ich freu mich aufs neue Album! Bin von SFU noch nicht entäuscht worden. Außerdem finde ich es furchtbar, Alben vorm Erscheinen kaputtzureden. Abwarten und reinhören! 8)

SIX FEET UNDER frontman Chris Barnes will be heading into the hospital on Thursday, January 13 for knee surgery to repair an injury sustained during a surfing accident, which occurred this past summer. „My doctor will capture the procedure on video and [the footage] will be posted on our web site within the next week for your viewing pleasure,“ the singer said in a statement.
SIX FEET UNDER will release their new album, „13“, on March 22 via Metal Blade Records. The follow-up to „Bringer of Blood“ was recorded at Morrisound studios and mixed at the Hit Factory in Florida. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include „Decomposition of the Human Race“, „Somewhere in the Darkness“ and „The Poison Hand“.
Regarding the upcoming CD, Barnes recently said, „It’s full-on brutal death metal… I mean, heavy as fuck! This is the first CD I’ve done in a long time probably since ‚Maximum Violence‘ that I’m just freaking out on. I don’t know how we put this together, but we did and its really, really incredible.“

A brand new SIX FEET UNDER track, entitled „Shadow of the Reaper“, has been made available for download at this location.
„Shadow of the Reaper“ comes off the group’s new album, „13“, due on March 22 via Metal Blade Records. The follow-up to „Bringer of Blood“ was recorded at Morrisound studios and mixed at the Hit Factory in Florida. Other songtitles set to appear on the CD include „Decomposition of the Human Race“, „Somewhere in the Darkness“ and „The Poison Hand“.

die produktion klingt noch etwas dünn.. naja wird ja bestimmt noch dran rumgemixt..
ansonsten geht der song gut nach vorne, dürfte die „old-school“ fans freuen.. wobei es jetzt natürlich kein northern hyperblast gibt *g*--

I'm the Dolphin Sprayhole F***erAlso der Song klingt als sei er von einem der letzten Alben. Musikalisch: Geht so. Diese Stakato-Passagen finde ich langweilig, der Rythmuswechsel mitten im Song ist cool. Aber der Sound ?? Mies !
Klingt als hätten sie den während Chris Barnes‘ Knie-OP aufgenommen.

sind immerhin noch 2 monate zeit… cd’s pressen dauert nicht solange
und booklet’s sind meistens schon ziemlich früh fertig (sieht man an oft falschen songtexten drin *g*)--

Six Feet Under lutschen ja seit „Haunted“ Ziegenpimmel, aber das hier habe ich nicht erwartet. Sicher nix revolutionäres, aber dennoch spricht es mich komischerweise an und mir rollt es beim „Genuss“ von SFU nicht mehr die Zehennägel hoch.
