Das Projekt nennt sich „Walkyier“, hier haben sich einige Musiker zusammengetan um mit Martin Walkyier eine neue Thrash-Formation zu bilden.

Nachdem sich das ja doch leider im Sand verlaufen hat, gibts mal wieder eine neue Ankündigung:
Ex Sabbat & Skyclad vocalist Martin Walkyier has announced he will be fronting THE DEAD SOUL COMMUNION, a brand new band formed by ex Devilment founding member Daniel J Finch, who left Devilment following their European tour with Lacuna Coil and the release of their debut album on Nuclear Blast Records.
The Dead Soul Communion is currently writing their debut album, along with Synaptik Bassist Kev Jackson, Drummer Simon Dawson (Steve Harris British Lion ex Dearly Beheaded).
The band have already gained record label interest, and it’s hoped the as yet debut album will be released by the end of 2015. Guitarist Daniel Finch said “its how Devilment should have been, we’ve got the original, not the rip off”.
Most of the music was written by Finch through-out 2014 following the recording of the debut devilment album. “I had penned around 23 songs, and we’ve got this down to ten really strong songs”
The music is said to be heavy, groove based metal, with epic chorus and hooks.

Vielleicht wird es ja diesmal etwas. Leider bin ich bei Martin Walkyier nicht mehr so optimistisch, da er es immer wieder schafft es sich mit allen zu verscherzen…
