Habe aber erst drei Alben … Die Symbolic, The Sound Of Perseverance und Individual Thought Patterns. Ich kann mich wirklich nicht entscheiden, welche Scheibe mir am besten gefällt, aber mein Lieblingssong ist Misanthrope. Der Anfangsriff … :mrgit:Welches Album sollte ich mir als nächstes zulegen?

[B]IN LEGEND[/B] - Hand-hammered Piano Craft! Metalcon.de - Die neue Metal-Community - Surft vorbei! ;-) Bin hier aufgrund von Zeitmangel leider momentan nur selten vertreten!Vor gut einem halben Jahr hatte ich mal was von Chuck Schuldiner gehört und dass er wohl einen immensen Kultstatus inne hat. Schlau gemacht, Diskografie gesaugt, „Scream Bloody Gore“ angehört, für langweilig befunden und wieder von der Platte gelöscht. Das selbe Spielchen alle zwei Monate wieder. Vor circa zwei Wochen sah ich dann zufällig „Spirit Crusher“ auf YouTube und irgendwie hat es Klick gemacht bei mir.
Da ich jedoch schon vorher mal in ein Album reingehört hatte und – fälschlicherweise – dachte, dass ein guter Song wie „Spirit Crusher“ und sonst so ein Gepolter wie auf „Scream Bloody Gore“ dabei ist, stand ich vor der Qual der Wahl, mir ein Album komplett anzuhören. Ich entschied mich dabei für „Symbolic“, da ich zwar alle Albumcover von DEATH ausnahmslos geil finde, doch dieses etwas besonderes hatte.
Vor gut einer Woche kaufte ich mir eben genanntes Album und lasse es seitdem mindestens zwei mal am Tag durch meine Ohrmuscheln rauschen. Was da passiert, ist der pure Wahnsinn. Sehr technisches Spiel und doch so berührende Melodien und emotionale, aber nicht kitschige oder abgedroschene Texte, dass es mir bei jedem Hören Tränen in die Augen treiben könnte.
Habe auf meinem Blog ausführlicher darüber geschrieben, würde mich über Kritik und Meinungen diesbezüglich freuen. 🙂

ich hab nur n e rezession auf amaozon. com gelesn über die remastered symbolic.
und das hört sich schomal ganz gut an:„…The new quality of the music is sheer grace. Who better for the remastering job than George Marino, the man who did the original mastering in ’95. Mainly, the low and high ends have been polished and raised. Gene’s bass drums and cymbal accents are more articulate and present, Chuck’s vocals are more intense yet smoother, the bass stands out more than the original, and the solos are packed with more clarity and ear-piercing power. All of this is definitely prevalent within ‚1,000 Eyes‘, ‚Crystal Mountain‘, and ‚Symbolic‘. I noticed the most change in those tracks, but it’s apparent in the entire album. I was so overjoyed with the results I couldn’t stop smiling to myself as I listened, thinking, „I can’t believe it sounds this good! I never thought ‚Symbolic‘ could EVER be better.“

auch wegen den bonustracksHört sich doch interessant an. Zumal da echt nen Typ dran gesessen hat, der davon Ahnung haben muss! 😉
Und der Symbolic Sound ist schon Klasse, vor allem für die Zeit. Aufwertbar ist er aber trotzdem aufjedenfall!
