Ich meineseits finde [COLOR=#ff0000]Black Metal[/COLOR] ziemlich krass und düster , langweilt aber meinermeinug auf dauer. Die erste von Behemooth ist zu empfehlen.
Hmmm… mal gucken, ob ich die zusammenbekomme. Ich hab die Scheibe nur einmal gehört und selbst das habe ich abgebrochen, weil es mir schon schnell auf die Eier ging. Meine Toleranzgrenze für penetrantes Gedudel und übertriebenen br00tal Stuff war ja diese Woche – wie man an meiner Liste unschwer erkennen kann – sehr, sehr hoch, aber Anomalous fand ich einfach nur abgedroschen und nervig. Da fand ich sogar das letzte Brain Drill Album (wenn auch kein perfekter Vergleich) erträglicher.

Ich hab die Scheibe nur einmal gehört und selbst das habe ich abgebrochen, weil es mir schon schnell auf die Eier ging. Meine Toleranzgrenze für penetrantes Gedudel und übertriebenen br00tal Stuff war ja diese Woche – wie man an meiner Liste unschwer erkennen kann – sehr, sehr hoch, aber Anomalous fand ich einfach nur abgedroschen und nervig. Da fand ich sogar das letzte Brain Drill Album (wenn auch kein perfekter Vergleich) erträglicher.
Ups, das hätte ich jetzt nicht unbedingt erwartet. Ich finde das Album eigentlich ziemlich toll und für das Genre sind da ja mit „The Seraphim Veil“ und „Mitosis“ auch Songs drauf, die (zumindest bei mir) recht schnell im Ohr hängen geblieben sind…

Vielleicht war ich auch etwas ungeduldig damit und sollte noch einmal versuchen, mir einen kompletten Durchlauf anzutun. Zumindest in die beiden Songs werde ich noch einmal reinlauschen.
EDIT: Soeben getan, konnte meine Meinung aber nicht unbedingt ändern. „The Seraphim Veil“ geht mir mit seiner Strukturlosigkeit, die vermutlich Dynamik und Brachialität sein sollte, auf den Sack und dümpelt ansonsten so vor sich hin. Keine völlige Scheiße, aber auch nicht toll. „Mitosis“ geht mir noch mehr auf den Sack, weil es so furchtbar erzwungen klingt. Ein eher ruhiges und progressives Instrumental mit Post-Rock Tendenzen auf einer Tech Death Platte einzubauen, ist zwar nicht neu, grundsätzlich aber ja durchaus lobenswert. Hier klingt es allerdings (wie leider häufig in solchen Situationen) nach „gewollt und nicht gekonnt“. Statt Atmosphäre kommt bei dem austauschbaren und uninspirierten Geklimper bei mir nur Langeweile auf.
Ich habs versucht, aber die Band ist dann wohl doch definitiv nix für mich.
