bitte Aosoth – III und IV. Welche findest du besser und wo siehst du die Unterschiede bzw. was wurde besser/schlechter in der Entwicklung gemacht?
und allgemeine Meinung über Blvt avs Nord bitte

Zu Aosoth:
„III“ hat bei mir deutlich mehr Durchläufe gebraucht um zu Zünden im Vergleich zu „IV“. Ich finde das Album auch noch immer wesentlich sperriger, was das Album aber zu einem ziemlich finsteren Brocken macht. Die beiden Alben sehe ich eigentlich mittlerweile fast auf einer Stufe.

Zu Blut Aus Nord:
Die Band habe ich in der vergangenen Woche einfach mal wieder so richtig gefeiert. Die machen ihre Sache einfach von vorne bis hinten gut: Die frühen sehr klassischen BM Alben, die völlig schrägen und durchgedrehten Mittelphasenalben und das technisch-sperrige neue Zeug. Viele unterschiedliche Stile, die bei Blut Aus Nord alle für sich perfekt funktionieren.

Ich meineseits finde [COLOR=#ff0000]Black Metal[/COLOR] ziemlich krass und düster , langweilt aber meinermeinug auf dauer. Die erste von Behemooth ist zu empfehlen.

Darf ich dich hier um ein Statement bitten? 🙂
Das Album wird ja oft verschrien, weil es schon recht auffällig in der Diskografie ist: keine wirklichen Growls, viel Keyboard und alles etwas eingängiger als sonst. Beim Nachfolger haben sie das Meiste wieder verworfen, aber mich hätte interessiert, wie sie mit dem Stil weitergemacht hätten. Ich mag es sehr, da es mit Songs wie Little Music Box und Last Stop To Nowhere einige der besten Momente der Band beinhaltet, der Rest dümpelt zwar so im „ganz okay“-Bereich herum, aber insgesamt lässt es sich schon gut hören, wie ich finde. An mein Lieblingsalbum „Sumerian Daemons“ kommt es zwar nicht wirklich ran, aber rein stilistisch ist es definitiv ein Ausnahmealbum einer Ausnahmeband.

Der letzte Satz hätte (mittlerweile) fast genau so von mir stammen können. Lange Zeit empfand ich das aktuelle Album als das beste, mittlerweile würde ich jedoch auch zu „Sumerian Daemons“ tendieren (was gute Kopfhörer so alles bewirken können…).

In der Tat ein „außergewöhnliches“ Album einer außergewöhnlichen Band – ich sehe die Sache aber nicht so verhältnismäßig positiv wie du. Ich war nach den ersten Hördurchläufen eher ernüchtert, da ich den Eindruck hatte, einem „08/15-Gothic-Rock-Album“ zuzuhören. Von daher bin ich echt froh, dass sie nicht so weitergemacht haben, sondern ihren Stil „korrigiert“ haben.

Die alten Alben brauche ich noch btw. :).

Ich meineseits finde [COLOR=#ff0000]Black Metal[/COLOR] ziemlich krass und düster , langweilt aber meinermeinug auf dauer. Die erste von Behemooth ist zu empfehlen.

Ohne Frage ein hervorragendes Album geworden, aber bisher kommt sie wohl nicht an die erste EP ran. Auf mich wirkt das Ganze noch ein Stück chaotischer und sperriger als man es von Grave Miasma kennt. Die Atmosphäre ist dennoch absolut stimmig.
